In August 2023, a Nagoya taxi driver reviewed footage the following morning and found that at 4:17 AM the rear seat appeared occupied. No passengers were carried at that time. The seat manufacturer estimated the compression equivalent to 50-60 kg of load. Police suggested "an object may have been placed there," but nothing was found in the vehicle. The driver made their social media account private the day after posting the footage.
